Arcachon, and its little secret corners in one day!

From the first days of Spring, we invite you to discover the little nuggets of the city of Arcachon. Even though Arcachon remains one of the most famous cities in the Bassin, it is full of slightly secret places that deserve to stop there.
Take advantage of a day to (re)discover Arcachon From another angle !

Browse new Piers

The Arcachon's piers are one of the symbols of the city and they are part of must-haves ! The Piers of Moulleau, Thiers and Pierre Lataillade (formerly Eyrac) are the best known dArcachon is best explored on foot and offer boat departures to visit other sites. But other piers, less known and a little more out of the way, are definitely worth the detour! This is the case of the chapel pier with its large sailors' cross or the pier of François Legallais, the smallest ofArcachon. In all seasons, we love to walk there and the colors in Spring and Autumn are the most beautiful. Here you'll come across locals at the edge of a pier catching a few twigs. This is an opportunity to get to know them and learn more about their profession. The weather is nice ? Take the opportunity to sit on a terrace or on one of the beaches along the city!

The Croix des Marins jetty in Arcachon

Admire one of the most beautiful views of the basin

Take (a little) height and climb to the top of theSaint Cecilia Observatory for a magnificent panorama over the whole Arcachon Bay and the winter town ! Before you can enjoy the landscape from 25 meters high, you will have to climb the few steps suspended by cables, but that is part of the experience! When you see the belvedere, you will see a certain resemblance to one of the greatest monuments in France: the Eiffel Tower.

Stop at the only oyster shack in Arcachon

With its colorful huts and his airs of oyster villages, we love walking in the fishermen's quarter! Located a stone's throw from the port of Arcachon, the Aiguillon beach is one of the somewhat secret beaches that only locals know about. Take the time to take a break in the unique oyster hut inArcachon is best explored on foot next to the beach ! The large wooden tables and the antique decor invite you to relax…
