Getaway with friends in Andernos
The holidays are over, the children have gone back to school and yet we still remember the beautiful times spent together. For one day, we got together as girls to redo the film of our vacation.
A morning by bike to discover the Andernosian villas
We meet early in the morning with Laure who is waiting for us with her superb bikes at the foot of St Eloi church. She offers guided tours of the Bassin by bicycle: an unusual way to (re)discover our city!

Even if some of us were born and live on the Bassin of Arcachon, we stop in front of villas that we had never seen from this angle. Laure guides us through the alleys and invites us to look at places that she punctuates with anecdotes. A very nice visit that we loved!

Oyster tasting by the water
Still cycling, we head towards the oyster port, where Pauline is waiting for us in her oyster shack for a tasting in front of the Bassin. It’s a beautiful story that she tells us, since she has been running her cabin with her husband Clément for a few years now.

A beautiful platter of oysters, the panoramic view, the sun warming our backs and our friends, the perfect moment to put the world to rights and recount our holiday memories.

Shopping and strolling through the streets of Andernos
The afternoon is reserved for shopping in the pedestrian streets of the city center. It's a little ritual that we like to follow every vacation. Over time, it’s no surprise that merchants begin to recognize us! Chocolates and pastries at the new collection from the small local boutique… It's always a pleasure to come in and know that we're going to unearth a new find.

We end this shopping afternoon with an artisanal ice cream. As for the holidays, we head towards the pier to appreciate it as it should be!

Stroll with the children to Quinconces
The tribe joins us at the end of the day to a walk in the Quinconces, when the lights begin to glow. A simple getaway, in the heart of nature, where you learn to ricochet and catch crabs without getting caught.

With these magical colours, it is impossible to resist the desire for a trip to the oyster port. We take out the skateboard and the bike for a last ride before heading home…
