Fall temperatures have arrived. The air is fresh and the desire to cook good hot dishes takes over. Put on your best apron and try new recipes to cook your harvest and our local star: the oyster. In the company of Joel Latour, former restaurateur of Bassin, you have an appointment for a collective cooking workshop at Bassin in Arcachon!

Here, leave aside learning how to cut onions for a cooking class, almost like home ! Whether you come alone or with others, Joël immediately relaxes the atmosphere and the class quickly takes on the appearance of reunion with friends. On the daily menu, an oyster stew with Bordeaux sauce and julienned leeks!


The advantage with Joël is that it is possible to choose the theme of the course if you book the workshop just for you. And as the queen of Bassin will be the end-of-year star, you might as well take advantage of it to surprise your guests! After having already tested oysters gratinated, today on oysters poached in their own juice with a Bordeaux sauce.
While the good smells emanate from the kitchen, Nicole, Joël's wife, as a good sommelier, assures you the choice of wine.

To end the day with your friends of the day, each person in the cooking class invites a loved one who brings a bottle of wine. The idea? Being able to share this feast-like meal together! Installed on the large table at Joël and Nicole's, theDiscussions and laughter are going well and the meal is necessarily enjoyed in a good mood.
