9:30 am: We aim for the dune at Pilat 🚀
Aiming for the dune doesn't scare you! Once the hats are on and the scarves are tied, everyone goes on the pleasant walk that crosses the pine forest of La Teste. Something to start your getaway gently. Designed for young and old alike, the path is punctuated with thematic plaques dedicated to the guests of these woods. Now you know how to spot if a deer has been there!
💡 Good to know: In winter, the ascent of the Dune is done without stairs. More time to ride also means more time to share this wonderful experience together. Magical panorama in 3… 2… 1…
Wearing a mask is compulsory in the reception area of the dune.
You have arrived! At the top of the highest dune in Europe, the Arcachon Bassin unrolls its superb landscapes at your feet. A royal point of view that the whole tribe immortalizes with a nice shot. The children are already scrambling around on their new playground while the parents are enjoying this moment out of time...
11:00 a.m.: Winter mildness 🍰
Back at the villa, it's general cocooning in the living room around well-deserved treats. Two pastries here, a fruit juice there and the whole family enjoys the pleasure of being in this exceptional place. It doesn't take much to take the board games out of the cupboard and start a game of wild goose.
12:00 p.m.: A chef behind the stove! 🔥
When a home chef knocks on the door, it always smells good... Her motto? Beautiful, good and organic. At first intrigued, the children can't resist the urge to play with the spatula. That's good, Dounia needed two little assistants!
In the kitchen, the red sea bream browns slowly while the roasting pears release their sweet scent in the villa. The chanterelles are almost ready: it's time to eat. Winter may well fall, inside the atmosphere has quickly warmed up! The cutlery clicks, the “humms” multiply and the chef of the day reaps the applause of her audience.
2:00 p.m.: Free as a bird 🪁
The afternoon has a taste of freedom on the Pereire beach in Arcachon. The whole family takes the opportunity to run, having fun and kicking the ball at the foot of the waves. A bit of wind ? Quickly, we unfold the kite before throwing it into the sky and watching it spin around like a multicolored bird. A moment of poetry that quickly brings young and old together. Winter is definitely good for the Bassin in Arcachon!
