Visit the City of Wine
In the morning, as soon as it opens, visit the city of wine. At the top, you will enjoy a incredible panorama on the Garonne and you can even enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the visit!

Stroll through the cobbled streets
After the City of Wine, the tramway will take you to Saint-Pierre districtIts historic cobbled streets invite you to stroll and have a coffee on the terrace, accompanied by a cannelé, a Bordeaux specialty!
Place for lunch, in the Fernand Lafargue district. This trendy neighborhood is home to small "hipster" restaurants, where you can eat very well! Not far from here, you will find the Big Bell, a true emblem of Bordeaux.


Cool off at the Water Mirror
Nothing beats a nice digestive stroll on the docks of Bordeaux. When the weather is fine, it is pleasant to dip your feet in the Water mirror, a must-see site for a first visit to Bordeaux. In front, the Place de la Bourse unfolds, magnificent day and night. And if you feel like it, you can sit on the steps of the Water Mirror, to read a book facing Garonne like a real Bordeaux resident!
Shopping spree in Sainte-Catherine Street
Since the Place de la Bourse, pull it up rue Saint-Remi (known for its many restaurants), and here you are on the longest shopping street in Europe: Sainte-Catherine Street. Before the shopping spree, the Grand Theater up the street arouses curiosity. This magnificent monument is reminiscent of ancient buildings in its exterior architecture.
A few minutes, the Place des Quinconces, often hosts events: funfair, flea market, circus, etc. On this largest square in Europe, don't miss the Girondins monument and its fountain, to the north of the square!
From big brands to small boutiques, Rue Sainte-Catherine is a shopper's paradise! The new shopping center Sainte-Catherine Promenade, allows you to stroll, shop and enjoy a snack near the fountain.
