A stroll between history and culture
A pleasant walk near the beach, which combines history and culture. The walk passes through the Square des Grands Principes Républicains. This memorial highlights the motto "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, Secularism". Many portraits of personalities who have marked our History are present there (Charles de Gaulle, Simone Veil, Samuel Paty, etc.). The walk continues to the Port Ostréicole. Huts allow you to taste oysters and restaurants offer cuisine based on fish and seafood.
Then continue on the Chemin des Lapins (access via the footbridge opposite the restaurant Chez Pépé). A series of photos by 4 renowned photographers are on display until October. Jeanne Taris (sponsor of the edition), Fab Rideti, Chantal Serène and Philippe Rochot present some of their work.
