A day during the Christmas holidays
During the holidays, strange phenomena occur on the Bassin from Arcachon ! Children in turn become master chocolatiers, animal tamers or Olympic skating champions. What if it was the magic of Christmas? We tell you about our family day in Arcachon during the Christmas holidays!
1 – Chocolate on your fingertips
To the Aliénor's chocolate factory, gluttony is a nice flaw! The whole family comes together for a 100% cocoa cooking class. The little ones feel totally invested in the extremely important mission: making homemade chocolates for the whole family. We tie our aprons and let's start making delicious treats. Oysters or cannelés, our chocolates have a real local feel and are a real treat for the eyes and taste buds! If we manage (almost) not to get dirty, we can't resist the temptation to nibble on a few.
2 – And a carousel ride… or two!
Children's faces immediately light up when we offer them a ride on the carousel! It's a bit of a tradition, every winter in Arcachon during the Christmas holidays, we go to the magnificent seaside promenade, for a stroll filled with iodized scents. We always admire the view of the Bassin with just as much amazement, but the little ones are more attracted by the sweet music of the ride! Neither one, nor two, everyone chooses their totem animal and off we go for laughter and big smiles!
3 – Rediscover the magic of Christmas
Christmas is the time when we like to get together with family but also enjoy the simple pleasures of winter. For the very first time this year, we are going to the open-air ice rink located at Place Thiers to experience the joy of skating. If Rose hesitates a little at first, Léon rushes in like a rocket and quickly takes his little sister with him!
After the emotions on the ice cream, we go to comfort ourselves with a nice waffle, our ritual at the Christmas chalets!
We end our day when the day goes away, admiring the fir trees in front of the Halles, the children's eyes shine almost as brightly as the lights which slowly come to life.
