Open your eyes so you don't miss the show!

From the start of the trail Salt Meadows, nature wakes up. Dragonflies fly over the paths while green lizards cross the path at full speed before our eyes. Landing net on your back, binoculars and magnifying glass in hand, Alexandre will show you the European pond turtles that melt on the driftwood, the fish that reproduce at full speed and the salicornia that grow in places left free by the falling tide. A magical and rewarding moment!

Walk along this little corner of unspoiled nature

To fully appreciate the changing landscapes of Salt Meadows, the ideal is to follow the whole path. The path takes you through the Tamarisk, marshes and forests and you will come across informative panels on the fauna and flora on your way. Continuing the walk, you will come across the Canal des étangs which carries saline water from the basin to the Salt Meadows. On the other side of the bridge, the Salt Meadows of Lège have a different landscape. It feels (almost) in the middle of the savannah!
