Cross the Bassin of Arcachon by sea shuttle
2 providers offer boat crossings: UBA and the Tide Pass. It is also possible to move more intimately with the water taxis (7 days a week, 24 hours a day) or rent a boat sailing, motor, or even traditional pinnaces.
Bassin smart : in July-August, travel by sea bus for 2€! This water bus operates the connection between the small Port of Arcachon, the Thiers Jetty and the Moulleau Jetty in Arcachon.
On the Bassin from Arcachon, travel with the TER Nouvelle Aquitaine:
– 27 round trips per day (line 41): Bordeaux St-Jean > Marcheprime (20 min) > Biganos (30 min) > Le Teich (35 min) > Gujan-Mestras (40 min) > La Hume (44 min) > La Teste de Buch (47min) > Arcachon (50 min)
– Daily service to Biganos by semi-direct train from Bordeaux (15 min) by lines 45 (towards Mont de Marsan) and 51 (towards Hendaye)
