The town of La Teste de Buch has experienced a devastating fire that changed landscapes, particularly around Lake Cazaux, but also at the base of the Dune du Pilat, and all the ocean beaches of La Teste de Buch (Salie, Lagune, Petit Nice). It is necessary to comply with the the current decrees in place,which can prohibit access to burned forests, roads or cycle paths, such as access to beaches. Before your visit, check with La Teste de Buch Tourist Office or the local authorities.
