All in Leyre at the tree climbing of Mios

Let's go for a sports day in Mios with Johan and his team! On the program: tree climbing and canoeing in the Landes de Gascogne Regional Natural Park. Something to delight nature lovers! So we put on our sneakers, we go to the banks of the Leyre and we are about to take a good breath of fresh air (and adrenaline)!

Climb in the trees

With 15 sports courses in the trees and 1000 meters of zip line, the treetop adventure course has something to convince adrenaline junkies.

Daring souls take to the skies on one of the sportiest courses. Grab the small ledge that protrudes from the plank of wood and join the next tree with the strength of the arms. You don't have vertigo? Balance on a board before taking the leap to grab onto the rope spider.

And for budding adventurers? 5 courses adapted for the little ones and 11 courses for the older children. Enough to experience your first sensations in complete safety! The courses even end with a small zip line. Fun and laughter guaranteed!

Slide on the Leyre in a canoe

After sliding on the zip line cable, Johan and the whole team also invite us to slide in a canoe. The one you were contemplating from the trees a few minutes before, extends its arms to you for discovery along the water. Welcome to the Leyre!

Non-stop flight to the Amazon! If it is nicknamed the Little Amazon, it is because the Leyre offers you an exotic setting, between forests and ocher-colored water, far from the oyster-farming villages and beaches of the Bassin of Arcachon. Hop hop hop! We embark on our canoe-kayak and enjoy a bucolic ride contemplating the forest that borders the river.

Several species of birds are to be observed on the banks of the Leyre. And with a bit of luck, you might see a European pond turtle basking in the sun!
