Be sure to venture beyond the stairs. By observing the Dune, one may not realize that it is a natural monument in constant motion and an open-air history book. From 110 meters high, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bassin-arcachon.com\/nos-incontournables\/le-banc-darguin\/\">Banc d'Arguin<\/a>, the forest and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bassin-arcachon.com\/nos-villes-et-villages\/lege-cap-ferret\/\">in Cap Ferret<\/a>. On the other side, a vast pine forest stretches as far as the eye can see. Enjoy the boat ride while observing oyster farmers at work in the oyster beds before stepping onto the warm sand and playing Robinson Crusoe.<br><strong>Arguin<\/strong>&nbsp;can only be accessed by boat for the day. Part of the sandbank is surrounded by a rope marked with signs \"integral protection zone\"; please do not cross it (it's a highly significant bird area). Camping and dogs are not allowed on the Banc d'Arguin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-8ad2ee1a alignfull uagb-is-root-container\"><div class=\"uagb-container-inner-blocks-wrap\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-uagb-container uagb-block-cc4253ff\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Take a tour around the \u00cele aux Oiseaux (Bird Island)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Departing from Arcachon or the L\u00e8ge-Cap Ferret peninsula, whether by boat or sea kayak, exploring this island in the middle of the Bay is a must.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When taking a boat, opt for high tide to get a closer look at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bassin-arcachon.com\/nos-incontournables\/les-cabanes-tchanquees\/\">\"Cabanes Tchanqu\u00e9es\"<\/a>. A sea kayak is the ideal vessel!
